I am Miroslav Kukučka, a Slovak nature photographer based in Belgium. This website showcases a curated selection of my 25-year passion for capturing the natural world. My photography is guided by a simple but profound truth: nature is not a commodity to be exploited, but a sanctuary to be cherished. I believe that unique natural environments and living creatures exist all around us, proving that global travel is not a requirement for capturing evocative imagery. Reflecting this philosophy, the majority of my photographs were taken near my homes in both Belgium and Slovakia.

Lately my work has earned recognition at the 2026 Fine Art Photography Awards and the most recently at Bird Photographer of the Year competition 2026.
